AWPI HMO FOR ARTISTS 2026
The AWPI HMO for Artists is a Group HMO Program with Maxicare.
We all know how important health is. While access to free public healthcare is still challenging, the AWPI HMO for Artists stands on the united effort of gathering at least 500 enrollees, making healthcare coverage per illness affordable.
Maximum Benefit Limit: Php 50k per illness.
For Pre-existing illness/disease, maximum coverage is 15k total.
Coverage Period: One (1) year, from March 27, 2026 to March 26, 2027.
Credit Card Payments: Payments via credit card can be transacted through this site, in partnership with Fanatixshop (Paypal). Payment will register in your Credit Card billing as "FanatixShop"

FAQs
Who can apply for AWPI HMO for Artists?
Eligible applicants are Artists and Cultural Workers, Artist's Family Members and Relatives, and Artist's Friends. Applicants must be 18-70 years old as of March 24, 2026.
What are Pre-existing illnesses/diseases?
These are illnesses/diseases that you might not know you have, because symptoms occur years after it started. Ex. diabetes related, heart related, stones, allergies.
An illness or disease is considered to be Pre-existing (PEC) if any of the following cases are present:
- Such illness or Injury was in any way evident to the Insured before the effective date of the insured's coverage.
- Any professional advise or treatment was obtained prior to the effective date of the Insured's coverage.
- The illness or injury can be clinically determined to have started prior to the effective date of the insured's coverage.
Are we required to renew after the HMO coverage period has ended?
This program is not a locked-in yearly contract. Renewals are not required.
What are the Inclusions covered in the HMO?
COVERAGE INCLUSIONS
1. Room Type: Ward
- Patient has an option to upgrade room
- Patient covers room fees difference
2. Doctors' fees, laboratory fees, hospitalization fees
3. Basic dental services ( Cleaning and extraction)
4. Annual Physical Exam (APE)
5. Accredited Maxicare doctor is required for these services.
6. One year AWPI Membership Fee, Access to other rights and welfare services of the NGO
What are the Exclusions of the HMO?
EXCLUSIONS
1. Dependents are not included.
2. St Lukes BGC, QC, Medical City Ortigas, Healthway Clinics, Cardinal Santos and Asian Hospital, Makati Med are not included in the list of covered hospitals ( UNLESS member opted for ADDL service to these hospitals).
3. Mental Health Services.
Can we still enroll beyond the March 20, 2026 deadline?
We will not be able to accommodate late enrollees. All names and payments must be submitted / deposited by March 20, 2026.
